1. Scope
This policy applies to the apps published on Google Play and the App Store under the developer name "Merto Gaming" (first: Merto Gaming: Kids Games). Our apps are designed for children aged 3–7.
2. Data we collect
None. The app does not collect names, e-mail addresses, location, device identifiers, advertising IDs, usage statistics or any other personal data, and does not send anything to us or to third parties. The app does not connect to the internet.
3. Information stored only on the device
To make the games work, the following is kept only on your device, in the app's own storage. Nobody, including us, can access it:
- Game progress: stars, best scores, garage choices.
- Optional child photo: in the Parents' Corner (protected by a parental gate) a parent may choose a photo with the device's standard photo picker. The photo is resized and cropped on the device and only shown as the face of the game character. No face recognition or other analysis is performed. The photo is never uploaded and is excluded from device backups.
- Optional child name: shown in the menu greeting and on the car's licence plate.
- Language choice: the app follows the device language (English or Turkish); if a parent picks a language in the Parents' Corner, that choice is remembered.
You can delete this information at any time: "Remove Photo" in the Parents' Corner deletes the photo; clearing the name field and saving deletes the name. Uninstalling the app removes everything from the device.
4. Permissions
The app does not request camera, photo library, location, microphone or contacts permissions on its own. A photo is chosen only when a parent taps "Choose Photo", using the operating system's own picker. On iOS, if the parent selects "Take Photo" in the picker, the system asks for camera permission; that photo also stays on the device.
5. Ads, purchases and external links
There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no social sharing, no chat and no links out of the app.
6. Children's privacy
Our apps are made for children. Because we do not collect any personal data from children, we perform no data processing within the scope of the US COPPA, the EU GDPR (including its provisions on children) or Turkey's KVKK (Law No. 6698). Parent-facing areas are protected by a parental gate.
7. Stores and operating systems
The store you download the app from (Google Play, App Store) and your device's operating system may process information under their own privacy policies (e.g. download records). This is outside Merto Gaming's control.
8. Changes
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date. If a change would ever require collecting data, we will announce it clearly in the app in advance.
